Class Assignments Listed by Track

Mrs. Boehme will be on KSL Channel 5 news at 10 p.m. on Monday, February 22.
A1 - Boehme/Goff:   
Math: After school tutoring starts on 2/9. No assignment.  7th Math Placement Test.
Spelling:  none for the next couple of weeks
Vocabulary: 
Social Studies: Atlas 56-57 due 2/19
Poem: "The Oak Tree" by Johnny Ray Rider.  Need to memorize and recite in class on Wednesday Feb. 17th.

A2- Packard:
Missing assignments reports sent home. Please sign and return by tomorrow, 2/23. 
Egypt Day tomorrow. Students may bring a sheet to wear as a costume.

1. Check Skyward for grades and missing assignments.
2. Grammar: 
3. Math: No assignment. Math placement test today.
   
4. Social Studies: Atlas #19. Due: 2/23.
   
5. ThinkThroughMath: 55 lessons passed off by February 29.
6. Language Arts: Online Essay: "An Important Person." Due: Monday, Feb.28, midnight.
   
7. SpellingCity.com: My Side of the Mountain Review Unit #1-7.  Due: 2/28 midnight. Be sure to do the spelling test LAST!
8. NoRedInk: Assigned lessons and makeup tests completed by 2/28.
9. Speaking Assignment: Poem: "The Bridge Builder." Due: February 29. Practice saying it LOUD, SLOW, and CLEAR. 
   
10. Independent Reading: 20 minutes every night. Be sure to read a book on your Lexile level. 
11. Keyboarding: Practice on Typing.com. 30 wpm or higher for an "A".
12. Science: No assignment.

between Jan-Feb 11th.  All work is due by March 4th.

Language Arts:  Habit #5 and #6   Google Classroom Assignment.
Guided Reading: "Stop and Write" paragraph for each day.  (2/22, 2/23)
Vocabulary: Ancient Greece / Quiz Friday Feb. 26th
Spelling:  Elk Meadows Spelling Bee is February 25th.
Science: Solar Systems (Boehme/Goff) Reports and projects due 2/23 -  See Science page

Social Studies:  Weekly #14 and Atlas 14 A & B due Friday
      Greece and Rome PPT--Google Classroom
Poem: "Sick" by Shel Silverstein will be our next memorized poem.  Practice it LOUD, SLOW, CLEAR and with EXPRESSION.  Due Wednesday Feb 24th.
