Utah Science Core - 6th Grade Utah Science Core.

Out of this World Solar System Report (100 points) - C track due March 15.

• This will be a five-paragraph report (introductory paragraph, three different paragraphs about parts of the topic, closing paragraph).
•  The three different paragraphs about parts of the topic will each have a heading for a total of three headings.
• The three different paragraphs about parts of the topic will each have a minimum of five sentences.
• Two sources are needed (bibliography).
• A graphic is needed.  This could be a chart, table, drawing, etc.
• A rough draft will be handwritten (every other line for revising).
• The final draft will be typed in the computer lab.
• Make sure to use your own words.  No Plagiarizing!

Out of thie World Visual Presentation (50 points)

• This will be something you can show the class:  poster, model, drawing, PowerPoint, Prezi, Glogster, etc.
• This will be prepared at home.
• Your presentation will consist of reading your report and sharing your visual creation with the class.  Be prepared for your presentation on Tuesday, December 1.
