Holiday Program for Parents is Monday, December 21 at 9:00 a.m. in the gym.  Students should wear a holiday shirt or holiday colors (red, green, white, gold, silver).  Sixth graders can also have Santa hats and sunglasses for one of our songs.

A1 - Boehme/Goff:  All make up work from November 9 to December 4 is due by Friday, December 18 for credit.  If student will not be at school on December 22, please send a note or email by Friday, December 18, so we can be prepared to track off.
Math:  5-16 due 12/16
Spelling: reserved, unlikely, purposeful, adorable, amazement, gentleness, sparkling, homeless, excitement, mileage, graceful, sincerely, advanced, usable, amusement, entirely, wireless, excluding, scarcely, changeable
Vocabulary: lore, abundance, altered, sophisticated, cultural, lush, teeming, retains, heritage, concept
Social Studies:  Atlas 54a-b due 12/18.
Keyboarding:  Do Edutyping to improve your technique, speed, and accuracy in typing.  This will be  graded this term with a state Keyboarding Test in January. Have 28 wpm or higher for an A.

A2 - Packard: 
Check Skyward for grades and missing assignments. 
Language Arts: Argumentative Essay "Should PE Be Required In Schools?" Due: December 20, midnight.
Math: Chapter 5 Unit Review. Due: 12/15.
Think Through Math (online): 40 lessons passed off by December 31, 2015.
Independent Reading: 20 min. each night. 100 min. per week. 
Memorize poem: "A Candle In The Night."  Due: December 21. Practice by saying it LOUD, SLOW, and CLEAR for a good grade.
String Art Candle: Due: 12/15.
Extra credit for attending a live performance of "The Nutcracker" or "A Christmas Carol." Turn in program and a paragraph about what you liked/disliked about the performance.

Science:  Planet scale size drawing. Colored. Due: 12/17.

D- Berven/Thomas:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!  WE WERE ABLE TO MAKE ABOUT 25 BLANKETS FOR THE 
 Veteran's Hospital.
THEY WILL BE DELIVERED THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS.

Guided Reading Activity (Cartoons) due: Tuesday end of class
Utahcompose.com:  Working on writing using Utah Compose.  These essays can also be worked on at home.  Perfect score is "30".  There are 4 Essays that need to be completed and scored by Friday December 18th by midnight.  1) Origin of the Alphabet, 2) How to Make a Tsunami Disappear, 3) Egypt Game, and 4) Grades for Vacation.
Memorized Poem: "A Candle in the Night" by Mary S. Wine. Due: December 21st.
Science: Mrs. Park - HEAT
Social Studies:  Weekly Studies #9 due Wednesday.
