We are 1 of 20 schools in Utah to battle against Idaho. Let's go Elk Meadows Elementary! We can do this! 

A1 - Boehme/Goff:
Math:  5-1 due 11/12.  Do Think Through Math in your free time at home.  We want to beat the other sixth grade classes at Elk Meadows, all the sixth grade at Jordan Ridge, and all those using TTM in Idaho.
Spelling: happening, limited, forgetting, equaled, fitting, reasoning, labored, permitting, scrapped, tutoring, admitted, honored, skidding, pardoned, modeling, preferred, scarred, favored, glistening, shuddered
Vocabulary: rudimentary, immaculately, defy, permeated, venture, posed, rigid, consequences, sparsely, array
Social Studies:  Atlas 45a-b due 11/13.
Keyboarding:  Do Edutyping to improve your technique, speed, and accuracy in typing.  This will be graded this term with a state Keyboarding Test in January. Have 28 wpm or higher for an A.

A2 - Packard:
Check Skyward for grades and missing assignments. 
Math: >>>DO THINK THROUGH MATH!!!!
Think Through Math (online): 30 completed lessons total by November 30.
Independent Reading: 20 min. each night. 100 min. per week.   

B - Ridge:

Math: 4-4 due tomorrow

D - Berven/Thomas:
Math: No Homework
Think Through Math (online): 20 total Lessons due by Nov 25 (midnight)
Do Think Through Math in your free time at home.  We want to beat the other sixth grade classes at Elk Meadows, all the sixth grade at Jordan Ridge, and all those using TTM in Idaho. 
Language Arts: Novel "Egypt Game" Read p. 1-22, Workbook p 4-5 Vocab #1-6, Questions #1-8 answered in complete sentences. Questions for Discussion #1 or 2.
Independent Reading: 20 min. each night. 100 min per week recorded on Thursdays.
Science w/ Mrs. Packard: Moon "flags" worksheet , flashcards, flip book, Moon cut + paste worksheet due: Tuesday, November 17. Moon chart due: December 3. Moon phases quiz on Tuesday. Study your flashcards!
Social Studies: Atlas 1o A & B due Wednesday  Egypt "8 Squares" Sheet due Nov 24th. 
(see Example below) Egyptian Mask due Nov. 25th.
